This table sets out the inclusions, frequency and key limits for each Fractional General Counsel plan. It should be read together with the main Fractional General Counsel service page and pricing table when selecting the level of support that is appropriate for your business. All Fractional General Counsel plans are subject to a minimum initial term of six (6) months.

  • Included: Up to 3 standard documents drafted or reviewed in the first month. Templates only (not complex negotiations).
  • Frequency: One-off setup (first month).
  • Caps: 3 documents total. Additional documents in month 1 are quoted separately.
  • Out of Scope: Complex commercial contracts (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, IP assignments).

Hands-On Implementation Support (Onsite Or Online)

  • Included: Up to 2 x 90-minute implementation sessions per month (virtual or onsite).

  • Caps: 3 hours total per month. Additional hours billed at $200/hr (Junior) or $300/hr (Senior).
  • Out of Scope: Ongoing operational tasks (e.g., data entry legal contracts and registers).

  • Out of Scope: Populating the registers with your historical data.

Compliance Reporting Support

  • Out of Scope: Updating the documents (charged as new work if changes are needed).

Monthly Strategy Or Consultation Session

  • Out of Scope: Execution of strategy (e.g., project management).

Tailored Training For Staff

  • Included: Design and delivery of one 90-minute tailored session per quarter.
  • Frequency: Quarterly.
  • Caps: Up to 20 attendees. Includes custom slides. Additional sessions quoted separately.
  • Out of Scope: Training for specialist roles (e.g., IT security).

Regulator & Industry Update Briefings

  • We keep an eye on APRA, ASIC, AFCA, ACCC, AUSTRAC, and other regulators for you. When something changes that matters to your industry, we send you a short email briefing.
  • Included: Proactive email summaries (up to 2 per month) on relevant regulatory changes.
  • Frequency: As-needed (up to 2 per month).
  • Caps: 2 briefings/month. Deeper analysis (e.g., “what this means for our specific contracts”) is extra.
  • Out of Scope: Implementing the changes.

Dedicated Support Line For Ad-Hoc Advice

Additional Legal & Compliance Documentation

Ongoing Strategic Legal Advisory & Consultation

  • Included: Two 60-minute strategic sessions per month.
  • Frequency: Monthly (2 sessions).
  • Caps: Strategy/advice only. Execution of strategy (e.g., due diligence) is project work.
  • Out of Scope: Representing you in negotiations (e.g., sitting in on a merger negotiation).

Remediation Support & Project Work

  • We help you fix past problems or manage special projects, such as cleaning up a contract database, responding to a historical breach, or managing a licensing application.
  • Included: Up to 6 hours of project/remediation work per month.
  • Frequency: Monthly.
  • Caps: 6 hours/month. Major projects (>10 hours) are scoped separately.
  • Out of Scope: Court/tribunal representation or litigation.

Regulator Engagement Assistance

  • If APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, or another regulator contacts you (for an audit, information request, or investigation), we help you prepare responses and attend meetings.
  • Included: Review of 2 draft responses per year and a 60-minute prep call per event.
  • Frequency: As-needed (up to 2 events per year).
  • Caps: 2 events. Formal representation (e.g., appearing at a hearing) is separate.
  • Out of Scope: Defending against enforcement action or penalties.

All plans can be tailored to your business needs. Listed prices are standard estimates for small to medium enterprises; final pricing may vary based on the size, complexity and risk profile of your business. Full engagement terms, including the minimum initial term of six (6) months, are set out in your Services Agreement.
